Hej! I am an industrial designer and design researcher, currently pursuing a PhD in industrial design focusing on mass customization through additive manufacturing in the Design Research Group at Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden. My research is supported by the Swedish doctoral school Designfakulteten. I also teach design students in the design process and in creative methods for both product and service design projects.

I’m interested in product toolkits for users, consumer participation in design of everyday products, parametric and generative design and disruptive manufacturing technologies like 3D printing. This website gives an insight in my work; research and design projects, papers, thoughts and latest developments in the field of 3D printing and layman-design.

Furthermore, I’m writing for Shapeways, contributing to the Future of Stuff.
